Black Coconut

This is not so much a light, beachy scent as a trip into the rainforest; earthy, darker. I mix it with Arabian Sandalwood to sweeten it a bit.

This is straight up coconut. I was kinda expecting that it would be a bit more sweet because of the chocolate and almond notes, but this one just smelled like coconut to me. It’s definitely a lot less sweet than Creamy Coconut, in fact this leans almost bitter on my skin. I think this would be great paired with Vanilla Bean

out of the three i ordered from here, THIS is the one that makes me breathe extra deep to get that good whiff. it has a very gentle but obvious coconut scent that i can’t get enough of. i rolled it onto the back of my hand to try and here 4 hours later i’m still able to smell it as strongly as it had to its first application. to be fair i do have covid (freshly tested as of this morning) so my sense of smell may very well be as off as a k-9 dog underwater but it’s a very nice and beautiful scent, well done 👏

I heard of Kuumba Made through a youtube fragrance content creator. She shared that if you want your fragrance to last, try layering with an oil and she suggested a couple of companies, one being Kuumba Made. I purchased several sample sizes of the fragrance oils and the Black Coconut stood out for me along with the vanilla bean. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the reviews spoke to me. I am one who likes everyone to know I'm smelling good. I've worn this to work several times and immediately get compliments, even towards the end of the day when I can no longer smell it myself. It's so good, but not cloying, and you don't taste it like other strong fragrances. You don't need to layer this, it's one & done! One day I went to work and realized that I forgot to lotion my ankles. I am of a deep chocolate complexion, so you can imagine! I took my small rollerball and rubbed it over my ankles and massaged it in. Ashiness was gone and feet smelled good, and people noticed! I will be purchasing a larger bottle. I'm hoping they come out with a mango/orange/vanilla scent. Thank you for an amazing, safe product.

I find myself experimenting with these oils, and I picked up the Black Coconut for something tropical for summer. I need my Coconuts to smell a certain way. This is advertised as having Coconut, Dark Chocolate and Almond, and this smells absolutely amazing! I could not ask for a better coconut…. However, it does smell different on your skin than it does in the bottle straight from the bottle….it’s heavenly to me, it’s coconut he chocolatey it’s creamy and sweet. I absolutely love this one!
